How we handle your details
We collect the details you type into our quote forms so we can price and organise your move, and we use Google Analytics to see how the website is used. This page covers what this website collects, explained in plain English.
What our quote forms collect
Our quote forms collect only what we need to price your move and get back to you: your name, phone number and email, plus details of the move itself.
The quote form on our contact page asks for:
- your name, phone number and email address
- the pick-up and drop-off suburbs
- the move date and the size of the property
The Inner West enquiry form asks for your name, phone number, email address and a message.
We use these details to reply to you, prepare your quote and carry out your move. Your submission is received by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, and emailed to our office. When you use the main quote form we also send you an automatic email with a few questions about access, and we keep a record of when that email went to your address so we do not send it to you twice in the same week.
Some service providers we use (website hosting, Google services, and team members working remotely) store or access data outside Australia, including the United States and the Philippines.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser, to see anonymous usage data such as which pages are visited and how people find the site.
Google Analytics tells us things like which pages are popular, what kind of device and browser visitors use, the town or city they are browsing from, how they arrived at the site, and whether they tapped a phone number, an email link or a “Get a Quote” button. It does not tell us who you are.
We never send Google your name, email address, phone number or suburb, and nothing you type into a form is passed to Google Analytics. Google keeps this usage data for up to 14 months.
You can stop Google Analytics collecting data about you by blocking cookies in your browser or by installing Google’s Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The website works exactly the same either way.
