Two movers and a truck cost $160 per hour plus GST, with a two-hour minimum. We cover Manly through to Palm Beach and Mosman through to Chatswood with the same crew and the same trucks, working out of our office in Bondi.
What does a move cost on the Northern Beaches?
Two movers and a 20m³ truck cost $160 per hour plus GST, with a two-hour minimum, and the same rates apply across the North Shore.

- An extra mover is $60/hr + GST ($66 inc GST), or $75/hr + GST on a Sunday.
- Minimum charge is 2 hours Monday to Saturday, and 3 hours on Sundays.
- The first 30 minutes of driving each way is on us. Beyond that only the extra is charged — a 45-minute drive bills 15 minutes, and the same applies coming back to the Bondi office.
- Sundays carry a 25% surcharge on labour — removals, packing and cleaning. Packing material kits are the same price every day.

Local knowledge, not just coverage
Matias runs our Northern Beaches and North Shore work, and he lives in the area he moves people around. That means a crew that already knows the steep driveways in Avalon, the narrow strata car parks in Manly, and which streets need a permit before the truck can park — not a team working it out for the first time on the day.
The travel rule is the same as everywhere else: the first 30 minutes of driving each way is absorbed, and only the time beyond that is billed, on the way out and on the way back to the office alike.
Every job here is sized individually
We do not quote Northern Beaches or North Shore moves off a suburb-level rule of thumb, because the housing is too mixed for one to be accurate.
A two-bedroom apartment a street back from Manly beach and a five-bedroom house in Mosman are both jobs we do regularly, and almost nothing about them is the same — different truck, different crew size, different day. Streets run wide and narrow inside the same suburb, and a water-side address can be the easiest job of the week or the hardest depending entirely on where the truck can stop.
So we ask what you are moving, what floor it is on, whether there is a lift, and how close the truck can get. Then we put a truck and a crew against the answers rather than against the postcode.
Heavy or awkward items are handled by adding movers rather than by excluding them. There is no list of things we will not take.
How long will it take?
A one-bedroom apartment usually takes 2 to 4 hours, a two-bedroom 4 to 6 hours, and a three-bedroom house 6 to 8 hours.

Add time for anything above a three-bedroom, and for a house where the truck has to stop on the street rather than in a driveway. An extra mover is $60 per hour plus GST and usually pays for itself on a larger job by finishing it sooner.

- Yes, and from the same crew and the same trucks. Manly, Dee Why, Mona Vale, Avalon and Palm Beach on the beaches side; Mosman, Neutral Bay, Crows Nest and Chatswood on the shore side. Moves between the two are among the jobs we do most often up there.
What size truck will I need?
- We size every job individually rather than by suburb. A two-bedroom apartment in Manly and a five-bedroom house in Mosman are both jobs we do regularly and they need different trucks and different crews, so we ask what you are moving and what the access is like rather than applying a rule to the postcode.
Can you move a large house on the North Shore?
- Yes. A 40m³ truck with two movers is $200 per hour plus GST, and an extra mover is $60 per hour plus GST on top. On anything above a three-bedroom an extra mover usually costs less than it adds, because the job finishes sooner.
